Overview :
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations and ensure products and services are sourced accurately and on time. This role is essential in researching suppliers, clarifying requirements, evaluating material needs, and generating quotes and proposals. The team will provide full training, but candidates should bring strong organization, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Research and assist with determining appropriate suppliers while supporting internal employees across the organization.
Learn to evaluate material orders for accuracy, completeness, and correct component needs.
Compare materials and components based on cost, quality, specifications, availability, and lead time.
Maintain knowledge of approved vendors and help identify new potential suppliers.
Perform accurate data entry in proprietary software and provide purchasers with correct information for placing orders.
Generate and format quotes, proposals, and supporting documents for account management as needed.
Respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, or team members and help resolve basic issues.
Maintain organized records and manage multiple priorities with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Communicate professionally one-on-one or in small groups, both verbally and in writing.
Perform general administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets, typing correspondence, and supporting procurement workflow.
Collaborate effectively with the purchasing team, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Experience creating or maintaining purchase orders, quotes, or procurement documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications.
Minimum 1 year of clerical, purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience or equivalent vocational / college training.
Preferred : Background in HVAC, refrigeration, inventory, or parts ordering.

Schedule :
Pay Range : $25 - $30 / hr
