Facilities Custodial, Technician

Facility Maintenance Support

Responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting assigned areas of a facility. Will also provide general facility maintenance support. Ensure all support and service is conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of Freedom Mortgage.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include :

• Day porter duties as directed.
• Wipe down restroom / breakroom areas as needed.
• Restock paper products & soap as needed.
• Performs daily a.m. inspection / cleaning of the Executive area.
• Performs daily walk through of all restrooms. Ensure toilets are flushing properly, water is flowing properly, and soap dispensers are fully functional.
• Confirm all coffee and paper towel dispensers are stocked.
• Order supplies as needed. Maintain inventory.
• Complete and communicate status updates. Close out assigned tickets in the work order system.
• Assist reception as requested.
• Provide coverage in other local offices as assigned.
• Assist with facilities / construction / operations functions as assigned.
• Perform handyman and general carpentry tasks.
• Assure the safety and quality for all projects; maintain a clean safe work site.
• Perform general demolition and refuse removal.
• Perform painting and staining.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain inventory of materials and tools.
• Accept and store all deliveries pertaining to work.
• Coordinate activities with other in-house staff.
• Manage materials and equipment required for the work.
• Communicate and coordinate with various department managers and senior staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned including but not limit to fixture, furniture, equipment and workstation installation and removal.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned including off site tasks as needed.

Education and / or Experience :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
