Job descriptionProvides direct patient care according to written protocols. Diagnose health issues. Performs physical examinations. Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests. Assesses severity of patient's illness and established timeframe for patient evaluation. Establishes plan of care related to patient's identified problem(s). Consults with other team members regarding proposed treatment guidelines as necessary. Detect changes in patients’ health and modify treatment plans as needed. Implements plan of care in a systematic and timely manner. Utilizes the electronic medical record system (EMR) in documenting visits.

Busy medical practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to
assess, plan, treat, and evaluate patients. Work is performed in accordance to written protocols monitored by a physician. The nurse practitioner functions independently as provider and interdependently as a collaborative member of the community health team.
Education, Training, Experience, and other Requirements :
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Board certified by either ANCC or AANP.
- APN authorization to practice in family health by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Prescriptive authorization.
- Minimum one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
