Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification in Radiology and Mammography.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a diagnostic imaging setting specializing in women's health
  • Primary modality is mammography with additional responsibilities in radiologic technology
  • Day shift hours
  • Patient population includes women requiring breast imaging for diagnostic purposes
  • May be required to assist in other modalities such as CT, MRI, or DEXA as needed
  • Use of PACS and RIS / HIS for electronic health records and imaging
  • Responsible for daily operations of the women’s health radiology section and compliance with FDA mammography guidelines
  • Perform and document mammography procedures in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for accreditation, inspections, and quality assurance
  • Participate in quality improvement, staff training, and procedural updates
  • Flexible duties may include assisting with other modalities, adjusting schedule, and providing cross-training
  • Expected to uphold patient confidentiality, infection control, and hospital safety policies
  • May require additional training or certification as directed
  • Professional attire required as per organizational dress code
  • No COVID-19 vaccine required for this position
  • Local candidates are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Active ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience in mammography imaging procedures
  • Familiarity with imaging equipment and electronic health record systems including PACS and RIS / HIS
  • License required if applicable
