About The Role.

HASTINGS is seeking an IT Support Specialist that will play an active role in keeping our technology organized, optimized, and ready for action. This is not an position built around observation or busywork. It is built for someone who thrives on taking ownership of tasks, enjoys structured problem-solving, and wants to gain hands-on experience that actually means something.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of a small but mighty IT team, helping us stay sharp and scalable — all while gaining exposure to and learning more of the tools, systems, and thinking behind modern IT. You’ll work directly with an IT Manager focused on larger initiatives like cybersecurity advancement, infrastructure growth, disaster recovery planning, and scalable systems — giving you a clear view of how IT supports and evolves within a growing organization. This role will help you strengthen your foundation and define your path forward, whether that’s in support, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or systems administration.

About the Role :

• Providing in-person IT support for 100+ users
• Imaging, prepping, and cleaning equipment for deployment
• Tagging, tracking, and organizing devices and hardware
• Managing cable organization and workspace cleanup
• Assisting with onboarding / offboarding and hardware allocation
• Keeping IT storage and server areas clean, organized, and accessible
• Helping with internal documentation and how-to guides
• Supporting software installs and deployment tasks
• Pitching in on IT projects as needed
• Gain experience with modern, practical tech stack — including enterprise hardware, architectural modeling software, cloud-based collaboration tools, and endpoint management systems
• Gain insight into real tools and workflows that support high-performance creative teams
