As the Staffing and Volunteer Coordinator at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll be the heartbeat of our volunteer program, expertly managing daily operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your role involves coordinating recruitment, orientation, training, credentialing, evaluation, and recognition of all volunteers, making you a key player in creating a motivated and engaged team. You'll work closely with our Human Resources Generalist to enhance our recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that we attract passionate individuals who align with our mission.

What you need to be successful
To thrive as the Staffing and Volunteer Coordinator at Fourth Street Clinic, you'll need a blend of essential skills and experiences. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with experience in a healthcare or patient support environment. Your strong attention to detail and high accuracy in administrative tasks will ensure that our volunteer program operates seamlessly. Demonstrating compassion and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations is crucial, as you will be helping individuals who truly need support.
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills will allow you to build solid relationships with volunteers and community partners, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred.
