The Sponsorship Associate provides project leadership and strategic planning to support the fundraising goals of the Development Department, specifically in corporate and production sponsorships. The role involves creating and maintaining revenue streams through selling program underwriting and viewer guide advertising.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate Support Account Management
Grow corporate sponsorships by building relationships with businesses across a 45-county region serviced by Pioneer PBS.Close underwriting contracts with new and existing businesses for production support, programming, and digital content.Collaborate with the Production, Programming, and Traffic teams on spot creation and placement.Maintain ongoing communication with clients, especially as underwriting runs close to expiration.Meet revenue goals and manage annual contract renewals.Develop collateral materials like sales sheets and streamline contract processing.Research prospective clients and maintain detailed client records.Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Highly organized with integrity and a strong work ethic.Excellent communication, research, and computer skills.Ability to develop trusting relationships and work independently.Attention to detail and accuracy in contracts and project work.Flexibility to travel throughout the viewing area, including nights and weekends.Passionate about Pioneer PBS's mission and able to convey this effectively.Quick learner, self-starter, and proactive in identifying revenue opportunities.Supervisor : Director of Development / Communications

Education : 2-4 year college degree preferred, with emphasis in philanthropy, marketing, sales, or related experience.
