What Youll Do

If you are looking for a fast-paced, people-first, product-forward company to continue growing your skillset and career, look no further than Gabb. We are looking for our next Android Developer to join our dynamic Engineering team!

As an Android Developer on our team, you will be responsible for new features as well as updates on our new and existing products and applications. At Gabb, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with many talented individuals while being at the forefront of safe technology. Additionally, you will :

• Attend daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, blockers, and plans for the day.
• Implement new features and fix bugs in the application.
• Review code written by junior developers and provide feedback.
• Identify and fix bugs or performance issues in the codebase.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure features are implemented correctly and align with the product vision.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and that new features integrate well with existing code.
• Document code and features for future reference and for other developers.
• Create and maintain technical specifications for features.
• Continuously improve skills by learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Contribute to lower-level Android and Android Open Source Project (AOSP) internals and tools that dont rely on the Google Mobile Services (GMS).
