This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care staff support and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability strong clinical judgment and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing
In this role you will :
Support Staffing Needs : Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
Oversee Resident Care : Contribute to MDS care planning Performance Improvement and Infection Control programs
Manage Nursing Staff : Hire train evaluate assign and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
Ensure Accurate Documentation : Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records
Develop Care Plans : Collaborate with physicians nursing teams and consultants to design individualized care plans
Support Staff Resources : Ensure timely access to equipment supplies and other care resources
Uphold Infection Control : Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
What Makes You a Great Fit
Were looking for someone who :
Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
Has strong technical skills and proven leadership / management experience
Brings a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
Has working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
