A well-established medical institution is looking for a precise and compassionate Surgical Coordinator to integrate with their patient care team in Providence, RI. This is an essential function, managing every aspect of operating room scheduling and making a significant difference in optimizing patient care delivery.

Compensation : $20–$24 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Coordinator :

• Reserve and confirm all procedure times, finalize arrangements with patients, and communicate regularly with the O.R. personnel.
• Secure required approvals and verify payment details for all scheduled interventions.
• Supply patients with detailed pre-surgery instructions and support them in fulfilling required pre-treatment checklists.
• Ensure all documentation and electronic files are accurate and completely prepared far in advance of the surgical date.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with the arrangement of continued recovery programs.
