The Opportunity

Join our “DevOps for Content” revolution as we partner with global brands and agencies to transform their end-to-end creative workflows – from ideation to activation – to deliver AI-powered content services with speed, scale, and governance. We are developing new applications and platforms to unlock the GenAI-powered Content Supply Chain.

As Director, Forward Deployed AI Engineering, you’ll build and inspire a high-velocity team of AI native engineers to deliver enterprise-grade, generative AI customer solutions that drive measurable creative and marketing business impact.

You’ll play a critical role in developing repeatable and scalable methods for rapid prototyping and implementation, removing barriers to success, and resolving customer challenges quickly. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, mastery of GenAI innovations, and customer-centricity to drive rapid adoption and value realization for our most strategic customers. You'll serve as the ultimate Product and Engineering advocate, feeding back customer-proven use cases and solutions. What You’ll Do

• Lead & Sponsor : Recruit, develop, and empower a high-performing forward deployed engineering team; act as executive sponsor on strategic accounts to ensure flawless delivery, customer enablement, and deliver clear business value.
• Set Technical Vision & Standards : Define modular patterns, reusable frameworks, and architecture playbooks that drive consistency, scalability, and speed across all engagements.
• Enable Rapid Innovation : Define and refine scalable prototyping methods and CI / CD patterns that accelerate time-to-value for GenAI content supply chain and creative automation use cases.
• Champion the Voice of the Customer : Streamline feedback intake—turning frontline customer insights into actionable product, marketing, and research priorities.
• Stay ahead of AI Trends : Stay current on advancements in generative AI, creative tooling, and performance marketing to continuously evolve team capabilities and offerings.
• Oversee Solution Delivery : Guide forward deployed engineers in designing, prototyping, and deploying enterprise‑grade GenAI applications—balancing innovation with reusable assets and scalable patterns.
• Align with Core Teams : Partner with Adobe Product, Engineering, and Research to influence roadmaps, co‑develop integrations, productize high-value customer solutions, and deploy new features.
• Cultivate Culture : Foster a high-performance, customer obsessed culture—mentoring your team with positivity, accountability, and growth paths.
• Evangelize & Scale : Share standard methodologies, lead internal workshops, and catalyze generative AI adoption across Adobe’s presales, post sales, and customer success teams.

What You Bring

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $205,600 $394,400 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
