SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT

Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT in the Comptroller Department (N8), Accounting / Financial Execution (N82), Accounting (N821) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Duties

Help

• You will develop, formulate, and establish effective accounting policies and procedures for Military Sealift Command (MSC) worldwide.
• You will provide executive leadership and oversight and ensure the accuracy of MSC's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Navy and US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM).
• You will resolve controversial accounting issues.
• You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports of financial results and resultant reports inclusive of all data on the Statement of Budgetary Resources, Net Operating Reports (NOR).
• You will ensure substantial compliance with the Financial Integrity Act, and the Chief Financial Officer's Act.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
