Structural Steel Detailer

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel projects using SDS/2 or similar 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate shop and erection drawings from structural and architectural plans

• Develop 3D models using SDS/2 (or similar detailing software)

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators

• Review drawings for constructability and accuracy

• Produce material takeoffs and BOMs

Qualifications:

• Experience with SDS/2 or comparable structural steel modeling software (Tekla, Advance Steel, etc.)

• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
