Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift

2nd shift - 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Monday- Friday

Lornamead is currently seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team!

Lornamead, Inc. manufactures and supplies, hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers. The company is headquartered in New York, with a manufacturing facility in Tonawanda, New York. Lornamead is a US division of Meiyume who is a global beauty company across major cities across the globe.

Your Challenge:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Maintain and repair toothpaste manufacturing machinery such as tube fillers, mixers, cappers, labelers, and cartoners.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Document maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP and FDA standards.
• Support calibration, validation, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure equipment is running in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food, pharma, or cosmetic industry preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs, automated machinery, and packaging equipment a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cohesively with all other coworkers

• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
