Maintenance Tech Level 2

JOB SUMMARY :

Orchestrate all manners of facility maintenance and factory maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Suppression, Woodshop equipment, Metal shop equipment (CNC and manual machines) Small tool repair, Garage door and dock leveler, interior and exterior repair and or painting.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising judgment and discretion.

• Knowledge of installation and maintenance of building and industrial systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, sprinklers)
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of wood shop equipment.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of CNC equipment.
• Knowledge or operation and maintenance of commercial painting equipment
• The ability to recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing, in person, and over the phone so others will understand
• Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced, production driven, demanding environment
• Ability to work as part a team and maintain a positive attitude under sometimes challenging conditions as well as working independently.
• Strong technical and people problem solving skill set

EXPERIENCE :

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on manufacturing equipment to avoid work stoppage

Perform and manage maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment

Perform and manage building maintenance and repair

Perform and manage relocation of shop equipment based on shop needs and planning
