Mid-Level Contract Support (MCS)Position Summary
Provide comprehensive acquisition support requiring knowledge of FAR, VAAR, and federal procurement policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze cost / price data.
- Draft and review solicitations, SOWs, and other acquisition documentation.
- Assist in development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Coordinate with technical experts to ensure accurate procurement documentation.
- Support pre- and post-award functions including contract modifications and option exercises.
- Advise stakeholders on acquisition planning and business decisions.
- Analyze pricing data to support price reasonableness determinations.
- Prepare reports and ensure acquisition activities align with FAR / VAAR guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 24 semester hours any combination of the following fields : accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management.Minimum of three (3) years of relevant acquisition experience within the last five (5) years.Proficiency in eCMS, SAM.gov, FPDS-NG, CPARS, and Microsoft Office.Favorable background investigation and PIV issuanceU.S. Citizen
