Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking to employ two (2) APPs to work in a newly renovated practice located on Clark Road. The Sarasota Memorial Pregnancy and Wellness Center will see both routine and high-risk OB patients. The clinic space has seven exam rooms, two ultrasound rooms, two Non-Stress Test (NST) bays with an accompanying exam bay if needed. SMH OB Hospitalist Group will be responsible for all deliveries.

Position Highlights :

• Monday Friday outpatient practice.
• Shared phone triage call (1 : 3)
• Provide routine obstetric patient care.
• See new intake visits with assessment for high risk or routine care.
• Clinic visits to include OB Visits (20+weeks), postpartum visits, Nexplanon and IUD insertion / removal, and same day.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic testing and interpret results.
• Prescribe, administer, and dispense medications and other
