As an Administrative Assistant III in the Family Medicine Department, you will support assigned chairpersons, senior leaders, or medical directors by performing a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing phone calls, greeting visitors and handling correspondence. This role also involves assisting with special projects and supporting various management functions to ensure efficient daily operations and professional communication across departments.
A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m., with on-site presence at Westcreek on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with availability for occasional early morning or evening meetings.
Occasional travel to other locations within Northeast and Southern Ohio may be required.
A caregiver who excels in this role will :
- Support assigned Chairpersons, Senior Directors or Medical Directors through scheduling, handling phone calls, greeting customers and correspondence.
- Assist with special projects.
- Administer calendars and schedule management.
- Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, such as reports, forms, presentation materials and messages.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external customers.
- Provide coverage of other areas, such as front end, point of service and registration.
- Coordinate management functions.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include :
High School Diploma or GEDFive years of office experienceExperience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include :
Associate's degreeTyping proficiency of 35 WPM with accuracyEPIC and Workday experienceExpertise in calendar management, including scheduling meetings and coordinating with multiple stakeholdersAbility to manage shared drivesExperience arranging travel and reconciling expensesProficient in preparing documents (agendas, minutes, reports and correspondence)Ability to track tasks and projects to support departmental initiativesExperience drafting emails, memos, and formal documents on behalf of leadershipPhysical Requirements :
A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC / word processor, normal or corrected vision and ability to tolerate extensive sitting and frequent walking.Lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.Personal Protective Equipment :Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment.Pay Range
