Position Details :

  • Schedule : Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift : Evenings, 3pm - 11 : 30pm, with weekend call requirements
  • Location : 501 Redmond Road, Rome, GA 30165

    • Your Impact :

    As a Non-Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety in our facility. Reporting to the SPD Supervisor or Manager, you will ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized. This position requires strict adherence to manufacturer instructions and established protocols. Your role will involve :

  • Rotating through various department functions including decontamination and tray assembly.
  • Properly identifying and segregating reusable items for decontamination and sterilization.
  • Operating complex sterilization equipment and selecting appropriate sterilization methods.
  • Assembling instrument trays accurately according to established lists.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and use of personal protective equipment.

    • Desired Qualifications :

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Preferred 1 Year of Work Experience
