Hours : Full-Time, 8 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join Southside Middle School in Muncie, Indiana for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, onsite position serves students in a separate special education classroom designed for non-diploma learners.

Job Details

Classroom of 11 students (non-diploma program)

Supported by 3 instructional assistants (including one 1 : 1 aide)

Focus on individualized academic, behavioral, and functional life skills instruction

Collaboration with support staff, therapists, and families to promote student success

Qualifications

Active Indiana Special Education Teaching License (required)

Experience with moderate to severe disabilities preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to design and implement IEP goals and individualized supports

Schedule : 8 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM, MondayFriday
