Title: Senior Accountant

Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in financial reporting and process improvement. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.


• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.


• Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and external audit requests.


• Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.


• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions for accuracy.


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Support implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.


• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as needed.


• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff.


• Partner with finance and operations teams to provide analysis that supports business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.


• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.


• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).


• Advanced in Microsoft Excel.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
