KYOCERA AVX Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at our Erie, PA location. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers in a manufacturing environment, driving innovation and ensuring the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in optimizing processes, managing projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage the engineering team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of engineering activities with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new products and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to meet project deadlines.
Required Profile
We are looking for a candidate with a strong leadership background and technical expertise in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Per ITAR Compliance must be a U.S. Citizen .Offer
