Epic Physician Billing Analyst

The Epic Physician Billing Analyst is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Epic Professional Billing module to ensure accurate patient billing, claims processing, and reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure and maintain Epic Professional Billing workflows, charge routers, and benefit engines.

Analyze and optimize revenue cycle workflows in collaboration with IT, finance, and clinical teams.

Provide end-user support, troubleshooting billing / claims issues, and maintaining claim scrubbers and payment processors.

Train and educate staff, develop documentation, and ensure compliance with billing standards and regulations.

Stay current with Epic updates, certifications, and industry changes in billing / coding systems.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Epic Professional Billing Certification required.

Expertise in Epic billing configuration, workqueues, and collection workflows.

Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing codes, and insurance processes.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation :

$121,000-$150,000 per year
