Job Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology and computer systems to ensure the efficient operation of technology infrastructure and services across the campus at Dow Rummel Village. This role involves managing IT staff, implementing technology solutions, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the Link IT department. The primary focus will be to provide exceptional technological support, education, and resources to the residents and staff. Leading a team of technicians and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in IT, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience considered.
- Strong technical expertise in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and software applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to staff and residents.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Must have good interpersonal skills – oral and written communication skills, positive, patient attitude, and willingness to work as a member of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Must possess strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate a team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks; to ensure resident satisfaction while maintaining financial efficiency.
