Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and motivated School Counselor to join a supportive school district in Raytown, Missouri . This position plays a vital role in helping students reach their academic, career, and personal potential through individualized support and proactive guidance programs.

Responsibilities :

Provide academic advising and assist students in course planning, study skills, and goal setting.

Offer career counseling to help students explore postsecondary options and build future readiness.

Deliver social-emotional support through individual and group counseling sessions.

Develop and implement programs promoting student wellness, resilience, and conflict resolution.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Intervene and support students during crisis situations and connect them to additional resources when necessary.

Qualifications :

Valid Missouri School Counselor Certification (K12).

Masters degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or related field .

Prior school-based experience preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
