FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Job details We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse facility, contributing directly to the success of our shipping and receiving operations of automotive parts.

Shift: Mon-Fri 5am-2pm with occasional Saturdays ...
Responsibilities:
Responsible for movement and loading/unloading of product in a shipping or warehouse facility using a forklift.
Knowledge of shipping software; possess additional skills and responsibilities related to managing shipments electronically.
Safely and efficiently operating forklifts to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse or shipping area.
Organizing and maintaining inventory by accurately tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting stock counts, and updating inventory records as necessary.
Collaborating with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and truck drivers to coordinate the movement of goods, communicate loading/unloading instructions, and provide updates on shipment status.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Skills:
Proficiency in operating a forklift safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and maneuvering pallets and goods in various environments.
Familiarity with basic computer operations for tasks such as data entry, using shipping software, and accessing digital documentation.

High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
6 months forklift experience
Basic computer knowledge (shipping)
RF Scanner
