ROLE OVERVIEW

The Content Stylist will partner with Photographers and Videographers to ensure each garment is best represented according to the style guidelines. The ideal candidate will be able to think creatively on their feet, direct hair and makeup, understand what silhouettes and accessorizing are appropriate, and make suggestions to elevate the brand across multiple categories. The Content Stylist should also remain immersed in the latest fashion and social media trends, and have a strong understanding of the Fashion Nova brand and customer base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently surpass daily KPI goals and execute shot lists, ensuring styling remains on-trend and aligned with brand identity across various categories
• Collaborate closely with content creators to align on concepts and contribute to the company’s overall social media vision
• Oversee photoshoots, identifying and addressing any discrepancies to ensure each look achieves the highest visual standard
• Leverage a deep understanding of styling fundamentals and merchandise standards to deliver exceptional on-model styling
• Resolve on-set styling challenges in accordance with Fashion Nova standards
• Maintain open communication with photographers, content creators, the styling manager, and sample coordinators to ensure seamless workflow and clear expectations
• Keep the studio space and content closet organized for optimal efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally with the Buying and Merchandising teams
• Propose fresh styling ideas and creative inspiration to the team
• Demonstrate resourcefulness in securing and preparing order samples as needed for styling
• Manage sample coordination and transportation for photoshoots

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Stylist working in a fast-paced, eCommerce environment, directly overseeing garment styling (ON AND OFF MODEL)
• Knowledge of on trend styling with a keen eye for detail
• Must have portfolio that demonstrates expertise in styling on-model, still-life, product, lifestyle and editorial photography
• Experience styling live models on set in the fashion industry is a must
• Experience working with eCommerce product styling is highly preferred
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and reorder workload in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work with direct supervision, both independently as well as a team
• BSA in Fashion preferred
• English, additional language(s) an advantage
• Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
