As a Security Officer - Distribution Facility - Full Time in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate : $16.07 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Thursday 05 : 45 AM - 03 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and / or escalation as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations and coordinating with first responders when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
