Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, Part Time Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr Location: San Jose, CA Experience: At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience

We are excited to share a new opportunity for a Shipping and Receiving Associate located in San Jose! This position is highly sought after and might not be available for long.

Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Duties include:

• Prepare packages for shipment to customers, and double-check that everything is accurate.
• Pick items from storage, label them according to customer instructions, and pack them for shipping.
• Enter customer orders into our computer system and get them ready for billing.
• Answer customer questions about their shipments and direct them to the right person if needed.
• Organize and file customer and company order paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned

Shipping and Receiving Associate Required Skills include:

• DOT training is required but will be provided onsite by the client
• Teamwork & Communication: Work well with others, and share information clearly.
• Dependability: Be reliable, follow instructions, and take responsibility.
• Learning & Organization: Understand your job and stay organized to manage your work.
• Problem-Solving: Find solutions and address issues effectively.

Shipping and Receiving Associate Requirements may include:

• A high school diploma or GED, or some experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and write basic emails. Good spoken English.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing with simple numbers, and understanding money and measurements).
• Common sense to follow instructions and solve basic problems.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with order processing systems.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must provide 3 professional references
