Must-Have Skills / Experience :
Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
Must have a current ACLS card or complete an ACLS course within 12 months.
Experience in Critical Care, Post Stroke, and Titrating Cardiac Drips (Nitroglycerin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Esmolol).
Ability to utilize Bipap and Airvos.
Ability to recognize a deteriorating patient and care for ventilated patients.
Description :
The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.
The unit consists of 19 beds.
The average patient ratio is 2 : 1 to 3 : 1.
The nurse will aid in the care of medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients.
The environment requires teamwork and a self-starter attitude.
Professional scrub attire is required, with black scrubs preferred.
No hoodies or unacceptable attire are allowed.
The facility is committed to providing quality health care and has received multiple recognitions for its services.
Recognition includes high safety grades and designations as a trauma, stroke, and STEMI center.
