POSITION : Systems Engineer - Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC)

LOCATION : Chandler, AZ 85286

DURATION : 1-Year Contract Plus Extensions (FTE Conversion Eligible)

PAY RANGE : $60.00 - $95.00 per hour W2 (Range for Mid - Principal Level Candidates)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

• There are openings for Mid-Level, Senior-Level and Principal-Level candidates
• 2-7+ years of experience in guidance, navigation and control systems (GNC) for aerospace and missile guidance related projects.
• Strong knowledge of guidance principles and systems, including missile guidance algorithms, navigation, target tracking and flight test programs.
• Experience with Autopilot and 6-DOF / 3-DOF simulations.
• Experience designing and testing guidance algorithms and Autopilot parameters for guided missiles and / or interceptors.
• Experience with C++, MATLAB, Python and Simulink.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

SUMMARY & OVERVIEW :

Insight Global is seeking Guidance, Navigation and Control Systems Engineers in Chandler, AZ. Our client provides innovative solutions for national security, commercial aerospace, and space exploration. As an Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) team, you will be responsible for designing and developing guidance algorithms, simulations, modeling and systems for missile guidance related projects, in support of the GPI (Glide Phase Interceptor) program. You will work closely with and mentor other GNC engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the guidance systems meet performance specifications.
