Quality Control Lead

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Lead in Montgomery, Alabama! The Electrical Quality Control Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and compliance of electrical systems on construction projects. This position is responsible for daily coordination with electrical subcontractors, the owner’s inspection team, and regulatory authorities to verify that all electrical work meets contract specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include : conducting daily on-site pre-inspections, identifying and resolving field issues, tracking deficiencies, and verifying corrective actions. The coordinator supports all phases of electrical system implementation—from material verification and installation to testing, startup, and commissioning. They also contribute to the quality control and safety process by maintaining documentation, attending fabrication inspections, and participating in weekly meetings with trade partners and quality teams.

Qualifications :

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Control for a large commercial construction project
• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems including high / low voltage, information technology systems, electrical paneling, etc.
• Must be technically experienced and capable of understanding specifications, standards, and code requirements related to Electrical disciplines
• Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders as well as third party vendors
• 1+ years of experience in leadership
