School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)

Nestled in the picturesque town of Ridgeland, South Carolina, this travel position offers an attractive opportunity for professionals in the field of psychology. Ridgeland is brimming with charm and cultural experiences. You can unwind at the Blue Heron Nature Center or explore the rich history at the Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage.

This position requires a dedicated School Psychologist to serve a K-12 educational setting with a student caseload of 30-50. Responsibilities include collaborating with the MTSS Team and attending Eval Meetings, crucial for student development. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours a week. Although travel is not funded for professional development days or unexpected closures, the experience gained will be invaluable in advancing your career.

Required Qualifications

Psychologist, School, Teletherapy

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

State Certification and / or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred

Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members

Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings

Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations

Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
