Job Title : LTAC Registered Nurse

License : Active VA / Compact License required

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Ventilator management and weaning experience
• Wound care experience
• Experience with infectious disease
• IV medication experience

Description :

This position is for an LTAC Registered Nurse specializing in ventilator management.

The nurse will work with patients requiring chest tubes, drains, and IV medications.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.

Shifts are 12 hours during the day, ending on Saturday.

The position requires the nurse to work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs.

Prior travel experience is necessary for this role.

Team members are expected to contribute to a culture of support, especially when interacting with students and new hires.

Locals within 60 miles will not be accepted for this position.

Client may cancel assignments up to 36 hours in advance due to census changes.
