Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification for a position involving both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Work setting includes both inpatient and outpatient environments within a diverse and rural hospital
  • Perform general radiologic diagnostic imaging procedures using teleradiology and fax equipment
  • Patient population includes internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, general and orthopedic surgery, anesthesiology, radiology, urology, optometry / ophthalmology, psychiatry, and ENT cases
  • Shift is Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts from 9am to 8pm with a 1-hour lunch break
  • Responsibilities include accurate operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and processing of radiographic images for multiple medical specialties
  • Candidates must complete a housing application immediately upon acceptance if housing is needed; housing is limited and not guaranteed
  • Facility is in a very rural area on the Navajo Reservation and offers a diverse, multi-cultural work environment
  • COVID-19 and flu exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form
  • Orientation is conducted every two weeks

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology required
  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association required
  • Completion of radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology required
  • Must be able to operate teleradiology and fax equipment
  • Arizona State Radiology License required if applicable
  • Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
