Unarmed Security Officer - Logistics Site - Full Time

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your primary duties will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to deter potential security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. In this dynamic setting, your role is crucial in supporting daily operations and upholding the integrity of the site. Pay Rate : $18.92 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 06 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as unauthorized individuals or property damage, to help to deter potential issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and site management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
  • Document all incidents, activities, and observations according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
