The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities, regulatory, infrastructure, and environmental law, with a focus on energy matters. This role involves advising on business, regulatory, and transactional issues related to energy, climate change, and environmental compliance.
Duties
- Advise clients on California Public Utilities Commission regulatory compliance and proceedings.
- Draft and review energy agreements.
- Support renewable energy project development, including solar, wind, and battery storage facilities.
- Handle regulatory filings and represent clients before the CPUC and California Energy Commission.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy, utilities, regulatory, and environmental law.Experience advising on business, regulatory, and transactional matters related to energy and environmental issues.Licensed to practice law in California.Experience working with public agencies is a plus.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
