Job descriptionCoverage Needed : 10-12 shifts per month (24-hour shifts) Minimum Shifts : 1-2 shifts (local candidates); 3 shifts required for travel reimbursement Board Certifications : Must be boarded in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine; Emergency Medicine preferred. ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, or ABPS accepted. Certifications : EM Boarded : ACLS and PALS must be current, ATLS can be expired but needs a copy of the card Other Boards (IM / FM) : Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required Patients per Day : 22 (average) Percentage of EMS Transfers : 11.06% Percentage of Admitted Patients : 2.09% Trauma Level Designation : Level 4 Hospital Beds : 25 beds Backup Specialties : Most services transferred to a main facility EMR System : PICIS Privileging Timeframe : 90+ days from receipt of CVO Welcome email Expedited Locum Privileges : No
