Job description

Overview

Research Medical Center is seeking a dedicated gastroenterology hospitalist to cover their facility based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology
  • Eligible for state licensure in the state of Missouri
  • Experienced physicians and fellows in training are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient-only care provided at two hospitals in Overland Park
  • Block schedule will be 7 on / 7 off

  • With 590+ licensed beds, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties including emergency care with a level 1 trauma center, a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and effective treatment for heart attack and sepsis. Additional specialized programs include traumatic brain injury, TIA, Grossman Burn Center, a GI Center of Excellence oncology care, Transplant Institute, Center for the Relief of Pain and orthopedics / sports medicine.
