Volt is immediately hiring a Design Engineer in  Springfield, Missouri, with a well-known industry leader.

In this role you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing projects using CAD to 3D print objects.

This is a first shift position.

As a Design Engineer you will :

• Develop and maintain detailed CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.
• Use CAD drawings to 3D print tools and parts for the plant.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.
• Reverse engineer parts that we could make using 3D printing tech and update models based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Teach basic CAD techniques and show others how to look up drawings

Estimated Duration 12 + months

The ideal candidate will have :

Pay Rate : $45.00-49.00 per hour
