Deductions Specialist

Job Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze customer deductions, chargebacks, and short payments to determine validity and root cause.
- Research supporting documentation (e.g., invoices, PODs, credit memos, customer claims, promotional agreements) to resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to resolve disputes and recover invalid deductions.
- Maintain detailed records of all deduction activity in ERP or deduction management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, High Radius).
- Process credit and debit memos for approved deductions.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure adjustments are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
- Identify trends in deductions and provide feedback to reduce recurrence.
Requirements :
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Deductions, or related financial operations role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Why choose Addison Finance and Accounting?
