Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established, multi-specialty team in Port Charlotte, FL . Benefit from a supportive primary care network, a beautiful location, and a busy practice from day one!

Position Highlights :

• Employed, Full-Time position with AdventHealth, a faith-based health system
• Mix of general and advanced GI cases
• Established referral base with high community demand
• EPIC EMR and strong administrative support
• Open to new graduates and experienced physicians

Compensation : Base salary + bonus potential over $700K!

Includes a $50k signing bonus and relocation assistance.

Malpractice coverage is occurrence-based, with no tail coverage required.

Fees for Boards, Licensing, and DEA are covered.

Retirement plans include 403B and 457B options.

Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Practice Description

The West Florida Division Medical Group has experienced rapid growth, nearly tripling in size over six years, with plans to reach 835 providers by 2025. Our practices span eight counties and include various specialties, caring for over one million patients annually. It offers advanced neurology services, emergency stroke care, minimally invasive neurosurgery, and is the only hospital in Charlotte County with a dedicated maternity unit. Recognized as an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery, it provides comprehensive cardiovascular and surgical care.

Located 45 minutes south of Sarasota and north of Fort Myers, the facility serves Charlotte, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties.
