Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Experience in IV placement and medication infusion

Description :

Training will take place at a designated Infusion Center.

Shifts during training will be 4-10 hours.

Responsibilities include completing assessments and documenting in the electronic medical record.

Review medications, allergies, and falls risk, then document accordingly.

Place IVs, access ports, and PICCs as needed.

Mix medications according to pharmacy instructions in the medical administration record.

Infuse medications according to pharmacy instructions in the medical administration record.

Monitor patients throughout treatment.

Provide education to new patients as well as at discharge.

Enter infusion charges accurately.

This is a new facility opening with staffing requirements of 2 RNs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Patient Care Nurse Assistant, and 1 Secretary.
