Washington Nursing Job Details Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location : Port Angeles, WA 98362 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (8-hour shifts may be scheduled as needed) Hours : 36 hours per week (guaranteed 72 hours per two weeks) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,570 - $2,760 Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active RN license in Washington or compact state Experience with Epic EMR preferred Required certifications : BLS (AHA) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) STABLE certification preferred Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy L&D unit (average 35-40 deliveries per month) Monitor fetal and maternal status, including neonatal monitoring and assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective patient care Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation Support postpartum patients and assist with transitions to home care Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices Discover the adventure and charm of Port Angeles, WA, while making a meaningful impact in maternal and newborn healthcare.
