Client is an independent, locally based nonprofit health care system, founded on the notion that the most compassionate care and advanced medicine shouldn't require a patient to travel far from home. Instead, they should be able to find it right where they live.
Since 1960, that is exactly what we've provided. Our system includes two hospitals: the 132-bed and the 50-bed Hospitals as well as an ambulatory surgery center. We boast a 100-provider primary and specialty care medical group and are one of three founding partners of a non-profit Health Maintenance Organization (Western Health Advantage) that serves thousands of people in Northern California each year.
We are the only health care system in Northern California to be a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, allowing our physicians access to the most advanced medical care in the nation.
Our specialty services include the county's busiest Level II Trauma Center; Women's and Children's Services, featuring a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; a Cancer Center; Heart and Vascular Center, (which includes a chest pain center, interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery); the Center for Orthopedics and our center for Neuroscience, designed to provide the most comprehensive care including Primary Stroke Center, neuro-oncology, neurovascular and degenerative spine injuries.
In 2016, Client opened HealthSpring Fitness, the only medically-integrated fitness center in the region, which now offers Movement Is Medicine, which allows doctors to prescribe unique fitness opportunities for their patients.
Our two hospitals have earned the coveted "Magnet" status from the American Nurses Credential Center, for exhibiting exemplary patient care, positive clinical outcomes and innovations in professional nursing practices.
