Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant :
Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedulesPrepare and review journal entries for deferred revenue, prepaids, accruals, and reclassificationsOversee the month-end reconciliation package and review documentationManage treasury accounting and banking, including ACH, check, and wire reviewPrepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentationIdentify, propose, and implement process improvement according to GAAP and institutional standardsBackground Expected of the Senior Accountant :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior roleStrong systems skills required with an ability to pick up new softwareExperience in complex nonprofit organizations preferred but not required#INNOV2025
