Job descriptionLead month-, quarter-, and year-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules Prepare and review journal entries for deferred revenue, prepaids, accruals, and reclassifications Oversee the month-end reconciliation package and review documentation Manage treasury accounting and banking, including ACH, check, and wire review Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation Identify, propose, and implement process improvement according to GAAP and institutional standards Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years) 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior role Strong systems skills required with an ability to pick up new software Experience in complex nonprofit organizations preferred but not required
