Senior CNC Laser Cutting Specialist

Bring your advanced laser expertise to Glenn Metalcraft Inc., part of Elemet Group. In this senior-level role, you will translate customer prints into production-ready CNC laser programs, set up and run equipment with precision, and protect our reputation by catching issues before parts leave the floor.

A day in the life

• Kick off with job travelers and prints, then create or edit CNC laser programs from drawings.
• Perform complete machine setups solo, select the right tooling, and establish safe, efficient workstations.
• Run first-article parts and qualify them for inspection; document and communicate quality checks daily.
• Tune cutting conditions for new materials, troubleshoot cut quality, and make on-the-fly adjustments.
• Operate one or several laser machines as needed while keeping consistent, accurate production counts.
• Recall and input programs; read, write, and save setup sheets for repeatability.
• Support preventative maintenance and complete minor repairs and advanced adjustments.
• Follow lockout / tagout and promote a safety-first mindset across the production floor.
• Keep the area clean, organized, and compliant with procedures.
• Maintain positive, professional interactions with customers, clients, coworkers, and management.

Compensation

The expected base pay range for this position is between $24 and $30 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
