EMM Loans is seeking an experienced, Loan Officer - Consumer Direct , to support its growing Consumer Direct operations.

The Loan Officer - Consumer Direct will market and be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans. This position requires providing excellent customer service to inbound leads, clients, and prospective clients, seeking residential mortgage loans and taking applications. The Loan Officer - Consumer Direct will interview applicants to acquire information concerning their current financial situation, their needs, desires, property information, obtain and analyze pertinent data, and ensure the customer understands the loan process from application through closing while evaluating the loan applications and documentation to confirm credit worthiness.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years in inbound call center preferably with mail new origination not portfolio retention.
  • Proven history of success in all rate environments.
  • Active NMLS Licensing – the more states, the better!
  • A contagiously positive attitude and LOTS of energy.
  • Ability to adapt to change and the willingness to bring process improvements to the table to help grow as a family!
  • Deep knowledge of various loan products, origination processes, policies, procedure, underwriting guidelines, and documentation requirements.
  • Encompass experience is a must.
  • CRM and LMS experience are helpful in your success! (Velocify).
  • Ability to multitask to work the provided leads utilizing all methods of communication, phone, text, email all through the provided systems.
  • Impeccable customer service skills with the ability to analyze borrower’s financial information.
