Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, including OR and Fluoro, for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a diagnostic radiology unit covering OR, Fluoro, portables, ED, and general x-ray procedures
  • Adult patient population with a variety of diagnostic imaging cases
  • Equipment includes portable x-ray, fluoroscopy, and standard radiology imaging systems
  • Evening shifts from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No on-call required
  • Candidates must be available to work major holidays including either Christmas Day or New Year's Day plus one minor holiday
  • Holiday coverage includes two of the following : Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and one minor holiday : Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
  • Requests for time off must be made at the time of application
  • Scrubs or dress code details will be provided upon assignment
  • First-time travelers may be considered if all requirements are met

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within diagnostic radiology
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Must be able to assist with OR cases, Fluoro cases, and general x-rays
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
  • License required if applicable
