Compensation : Up to $48 / hr plus $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!

About the Role

As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) on our Neurology team, you'll be hands-on in supporting patients through every stage of care from intake to post-op rehab. This role is ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented technician who wants to work at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor general anesthesia for surgical and advanced imaging cases
• Perform pre- and post-op assessments, including patient prep and recovery monitoring
• Manage anesthesia equipment and troubleshoot in real time
• Provide hands-on support during neurosurgeries and anesthetized procedures (spinal taps, etc.)
• Accurately calculate and deliver medications, CRIs, and fluid therapy
• Place and maintain IV catheters, urinary catheters, and feeding tubes
• Support seizure patients and assist in emergency triage and stabilization
• Acquire detailed patient histories and provide fear-free patient restraint
• Assist neurologists during patient neurologic exams
• Record and track vitals, behavior, pain scoring, and neurologic function
• Provide rehabilitation support to help post-op and paralyzed patients regain mobility
• Deliver client education with empathy and clarity
• Maintain detailed, accurate electronic medical records using practice management software
• Other duties as assigned
